Getting and Installing Mumble
This page shows you directions on how to install Mumble client. You will need a microphone and headphones/speakers.

Windows

Just download the Windows executable here and run it. Follow the installer instructions and you are done.

Linux

For linux users you can access the programme via your synaptic package manager by going to sytem - admin - synaptic package manager and download mumble. Run it and then follow the installer instructions and you are done.

Audio Settings

If this is your first time using Mumble you will need to run the audio setup wizard which should open automatically. If it does not you can configure your audo settings by selecting "Configure" from the menu bar and then selecting "Audio Wizard" once this window is open follow the instructions provided to complete the audio setup.

Settings

Once installed run the Mumble application.
Once the application is running you should have a window like the one showne below.
You will need to select custom server and input the details as shown below.

Label - MH Chat server
Server - 195.90.99.195
Port - 61627 (should be already set)
Username - Provide your username or the nickname you would like to appear
Password - chat
After you input the server settings select "Add" and then select the new server on the left before clicking "Connect"



Security Certificate

Once connection starts you will be provided with a message like the one below. Please note this is a just a security protection of the software and that it is completely safe to select "Yes" and continue to connect to the MH Chat Voice Chat.



Final Notes

• It is advisable to be in both MH Chat Moderated Chat and MH Chat Voice Chat at the same to as there are not always persons chatting on MH Chat Voice Chat.
  
• You may wish to deactivate Text-To-Speech which can be found under the "Audio" tab on the menu bar and selecting "Text-To-Speech" as shown below.

• To send a text message within MH Chat Voice Chat you should first select "Root" on the right hand menu then select "Channel" from the menu bar and finally by selecting "Send Message" as shown below..
